Three Options For Employees To Enroll

There are three ways to operate EMB Enroll. Typically a combination of Benefit Counselor Assisted, Employee Administration Assisted and Self-Service will provide the most accurate data collection for a client’s strategic long-term benefit solutions plan. Many clients have a dynamic employee population in which the online enrollment system caters. For example, the high-level executives who do not have time but tend to have a computer accessible might take advantage of the Self-Service Enrollment Method.  Those employees out in the workplace that need enhanced benefit communication, performing manual labor, or are not as computer savvy, are best fit with the Benefit Counselor Assisted Method.

Benefit Counselor Assisted

This enrollment process is highly recommended for 1st year’s operation of EMB Enroll for all employees. Subsequent open enrollment recommendations are client specific, based on long-term goals and enrollment planning.  This may include a transition to other enrollment methods or a combination of re-enrollment solutions. Benefit Counselor assisted enrollments can be either face-to- face or telephonic.  Advantages to Benefit Counselor assisted enrollments are listed below:

  • Ensures clean data is loaded on EMB Enroll System
  • Elevates benefit education
  • Increases participation on benefits
  • Engages employees to efficiently learn to navigate EMB Enroll System

HR Assisted Enrollment

The appointed HR manager(s) will be trained on EMB Enroll so that they can navigate effortlessly to enroll an employee, make changes and run reports.

  • Enrollment by a Human Resources Representative
  • Usually administered for new hires, terminations and qualifying events

Employee Self-Service

Employees are granted access to the online enrollment system and can take responsibility for their own benefits elections and/or view at any time

  • Employee can log onto EMB Enroll 24/7
  • Unmatched eligibility rules-based system
  • Extremely user friendly
